An open window onto
a person still evolving.
Entrepreneur, developer, Computer Engineering student — and above all, a father of two.
My name is Davide Masserini. I am an entrepreneur, a developer, a Computer Engineering student and, above all, a father of two.
I was born and raised in northern Italy, surrounded by mountains, valleys and places where silence still has a voice. It was there that I learned to observe, imagine and look beyond the surface of things.
Curiosity is probably the thread connecting every part of my life. It drew me towards technology when the digital world was very different from the one we know today, but it also led me to books, music, personal growth and the deeper questions of human existence. I have always felt the need to understand how things work—whether a computer system, a business, a relationship or, quite simply, myself.
Unconventional paths
When I was younger, I chose unconventional paths that did not always make sense to those around me. Between 1995 and 2008, I had a long and intense experience within Scientology. I became a member of the Sea Organization and completed an extensive path of study and training. In 2008, I left the organization and ended my involvement.
It is an important chapter of my personal history—not something I endorse today, but one of the many experiences that contributed to shaping the person I have become.
For several years, I lived across the ocean, pursuing a vision in which I deeply believed. Eventually, I found the courage to let it go and return home. I did not come back as the same person who had left. Some experiences do not provide simple answers, but they permanently change the way we see life, time and other people.
Building WARE
In 2009, I began building WARE from the ground up: a computer, a handful of clients willing to trust me and a strong determination to learn whatever I did not yet know. Over time, that small sole proprietorship grew, gradually developing stronger services, expertise and lasting relationships. In December 2025, it became WARE SRL, opening a new chapter in my entrepreneurial journey.
My work lives in the digital world. I manage Linux servers, web infrastructure, hosting environments, DNS, email systems, security and service continuity. As a developer, I work primarily with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I also have extensive experience with WordPress and with creating custom web solutions.
To me, technology has never been merely a collection of tools. It is a way of turning complex problems into something that works, creating order where there was once confusion and building things designed to last.
I continue to study Computer Engineering because practical experience has taught me a great deal, but it has never exhausted my curiosity. There is always another layer to uncover and something new to understand.
Beyond work
Beyond my professional life, there are other parts of me that matter just as much.
I am a curious reader with no single genre of choice. Over the years, I have explored classic literature, philosophy, psychology, personal development, history, business and human relationships. Books have never been just sources of information. Many of them found me at exactly the right moment, helping me put into words something I was experiencing but had not yet learned to name.
Music also holds a special place in my life. It is a constant presence—a soundtrack that changes with my moods and the different seasons of my life. I do not choose music to construct an image of myself. I listen because of what it genuinely makes me feel.
Fatherhood remains my strongest anchor. Being the father of two children has given me two extraordinary reasons to grow, take responsibility and keep searching for a better balance between work, vision and presence.
Life changes, relationships take different forms and not everything remains as we once imagined it would. What truly matters, however, finds a way to endure.
Still building
Today, I continue to build: a company, new skills, projects, relationships and a life that increasingly feels like my own. I do not consider my journey a finished story. There are still ideas to explore, things to learn and directions that I can only begin to see.
This website exists first and foremost as a way of introducing myself to the world without reducing who I am to a professional title. It is a personal space where I can share the things I care about, the books that have accompanied me, the music I listen to, the experiences that have shaped me and, over time, my thoughts and the projects I am working on.
It is not intended to be a perfect showcase. It is an open window onto a person who is still evolving.
Not everything needs to be told. But what I choose to share is authentic—in the hope that something here may resonate with those who experience the world on similar frequencies.
